Birds of a Feather to flock together in stage version of BBC sitcom

Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph take the television series that aired last nearly 14 years the theater

Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph will meet again in a stage version of BBC sitcom Birds of a feather.

Nearly 14 years after the broadcast on BBC1 last episode, the actors reprise their roles as sisters Sharon Theodopolopoudos Chigwell (Quirk) and Tracy Stubbs (Robson), and her man-mad neighbor Dorien Green ( Joseph). The production will tour a 17-week, nationally, from Cardiff in March.

Birds of a Feather

lasted nine rounds of nearly 10 years, pulling in nearly 15 million viewers at its peak. The game ended with the sisters forced to Chigwell Hainault after running money. TV has been poured back in 2009 but never materialized.

Although Quirke has accumulated a number of television credits, including cold-blooded and missing since the death of the sitcom, the Robson and Joseph have both appeared on stage several times, Robson, Grumpy Old Women to live, and Joseph Calendar Girls, in, Humble Boy and Annie.
