Fábregas omission adds to Barça saga
- The question of fitness club offered the player a convenient excuse, given the stagnation that has long been established in attempts to re-sign Barcelona midfielder. Reports in Spain suggest a third offering of the summer was presented a value of up to £ 35m, but there was no confirmation of them from Arsenal - with the Spanish club vice president, Josep Bartomeu and assistant athletic director, Raul Sanllehí apparently left the club tour of the United States to return to Europe and accelerate an agreement.
- However, an attempt that the amount would still be below 40 million pounds asking price for their captain Arsenal outstanding. Club Shareholder most, Stan Kroenke, who was present at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday to see the train Fabregas against about 5,000 followers in an open session for members of the club, is understood to support the assessment of their handler . Player
prospects are not helped by Arsenal Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie is suspended for the first stage, a legacy of the club's controversial exit from the competition last season the club. Wenger will also be absent from the sideline for the game after a charge of UEFA for using "inappropriate language" directed at the referee, Massimo Busacca, during the 3-1 defeat in Spain.
Nasri, whose future at the club remains in doubt, joined Fabregas not to travel after suffering an ankle injury, while Laurent Koscielny, Abou Diaby, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere has was left at home with the hope that they are suitable for fixing the opening Premier League season. Nicklas Bendtner and Emmanuel Eboue, who should leave the club before the end of the month, were also omitted from the squad with Wenger no plans for the campaign ahead.
