Spurs fail with Olympic Stadium appeal

review of other legal actions West Ham took a further step to fill the Olympic Stadium after a judge of the High Court dismissed the claims of Tottenham Hotspur and Leyton Orient to make a decision for judicial review. "We hope that we can now focus all our energy and passion in providing a fantastic versatile Olympic Stadium for the entire nation," he said. "We were honored to be elected unanimously as the preferred bidder by the OPLC. His decision, after a strong and diligent, was subsequently approved by the Mayor of London and the government.
"Our vision - in collaboration with the London Borough of Newham - is a world class destination for all, with the community at heart, capable of hosting world class sporting events, including the football and athletics high level. "
Newham council, which has been criticized by the Spurs and the East for its decision to partner with West Ham and injected a loan of 40 million pounds, welcomed the verdict. "We continue to focus on ensuring a lasting legacy for the stadium with West Ham United are on track with the OPLC to bring the case to its trade and financial order," he said.
