to meet the president on Thursday until October 27 vote members of the newly founded "CPO Say No" group will meet Chelsea chairman, Bruce Buck, on Thursday morning to discuss their concerns about the club's attempts to buy the property for the land on which Stamford Bridge is built, a tactic considered the first step to move to a new stadium.Several groups of supporters
States this week hoping to convince shareholders not unique to Chelsea, a company founded in 1993 to preserve the future of the club in his home in 106 years, to vote against Club's proposal to buy the CPO of land and the land on the floor of four stands were built. That the plan will be voted in an extraordinary general meeting on October 27, the morning after Chelsea Carling Cup match against Everton, with a share of 75% of the audience or the voting power necessary to bring the proposal. Chelsea captain John Terry, who is also president of CPO, supported the move of the club on Wednesday and urged shareholders to rely on Roman Abramovich. However, the "Say No CPO" (SNCPO) campaign - a coalition of supporters' groups, fanzines and fans "independent websites - maintaining a concern for a number of questions. They range from provision of time and the holding of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the quality of information provided by CPO to its 12,000 members, about 4,000 people registered in the register of shareholders did not address by name.- As against Chelsea are finally leaving the house, they look for evidence that all possibilities to extend Stamford Bridge beyond its capacity to 41 800 has been sufficiently studied. They also have reservations about what might happen to Abramovich to relinquish control of the club, if the safety net of CPO have been removed.
Chelsea insist on dialogue is underway with potential developers or owners of alternative sites. Buck, who bought 100 shares on March CPO, said any attempt by a new pattern based on the ability to rebuild your current home, and therefore depends on ensuring full ownership of the land. The club has published an interview with Terry on Wednesday night on the website of the OM that Chelsea and England captain suggests a departure from Stamford Bridge for a broader scope was necessary if the club was to remain competitive.
"For me, obviously, I have fond memories of Stamford Bridge," he said. "But what fascinates me is the thought of my children, who are Chelsea from beginning to end, being able to grow up watching the team play in a stadium. The fans play a huge role in the club and I understand people being a little careful with this proposal, but I saw what the owner has in a short time and we must keep faith in what you will do right by the football club.
