Keeping up with new learning technology in UAE

Activities that work to give pleasure and practice in learning English

What keeps you motivated? The positive response of students to the selection and creation of activities in the classroom really interesting. Have a positive opinion of students about his teaching also helps.

best time education? I recently chose two local press reports the crime to a reading at the intermediate level. Divided into two groups (A and B), students worked together to understand and find interesting details are given in the article. Then each student in Group A was paired with another group B exchange information on the various articles. I was happy because the students have become very absorbed in the activity, raising their reading, vocabulary and oral expression.

And the worst? not adequately address a situation of classroom management as a student is late to class. However, this can be a spur to the development of better strategies in future.

What have you learned?

My students have taught me the importance of being confident and positive attitudes. This enabled them to establish good communication in their mother tongue, which can be transferred to learning other languages ??like English. I also taught the importance of smile more and be very tolerant when things do not go as planned.

biggest challenge?

What's next?
hope more involved in professional development activities that will benefit other teachers (and perhaps, indirectly, the students going to teach me).

advice? Try to be aware of cultural factors that influence how students approach learning and its relationship with you.
