James Cameron to use underwater motion capture for Avatar sequels

Speaking at a conference on technology in the film, Landau said the Oscar-winning director has proposed to use the procedure, "because we can do that we can simulate visually simulate experimentally them. "We want to take technology smart people are set to make the next two films in emotion and attractive, and to really finish the story arc of the two main characters," said Landau Sunday a speech at the Technology Summit on Cinema at NAB 2013 in Las Vegas. He described the process as "performance capture in the water."
