NHS waiting times soar as doctors blame
Waiting lists grew 61% last year, which claim to Labour that the NHS is "backwards under the Tories '
The number of people waiting for NHS care is strong, with hundreds waiting more than a year, official data show the treatment offered will be increased.
With the NHS expects that £ 20 billion from the budget for the next 4 years slash managers have struggled to ensure that patient care will not be affected by spending cuts.
Despite these efforts, the number of people forced to wait six months jumped by 61% in one year. The Department of Health published figures show 11 857 people had been waiting to get in June for six months on treatment, compared with 7360 in June 2010.
The cuts seem to hit front line services. A hospital trust in Kingston, southwest London, which had earlier this year announced almost 500 jobs as part of his plan, would go to a foundation that 2314 patients have to wait longer than a year to begin a treatment.
