> Drawn to Life The Next Chapter

Discription : Once again, the Raposa need your help to save their civilization! Drawn to Life returns to the DS in an all new journey, featuring even more ways to customize your hero and your gaming experience
More review coming soon.
My 10 year old daughter was so traumatized by the ending that all she could do
was sit, shake and cry after finishing the game. She didn't want to talk about it, but
eventually opened up. It was a very sad ending in which parents die - traumatic enough
for any kid. However, the worst part of the game is that it has kids pick (multiple choice style) at the beginning the way in which the parents die. My 10 year old felt responsible
for the deaths because she had picked certain things at the begi nning of the game.
I don't know what the designers could possibly be thinking!
Note: my daughter is not extremely sensitive - she watched Goosebumps, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean etc., with no problem. She's usually the first to say "Oh Mom, it's only a movie". If it bothered her this much, it's bound to really upset a kid that's used to G ratings. Parents, in a nutshell, there are better games without the risk of severe emotional trauma - do yourself and your child a favor and just find something else for them to play.
This was a gift for my eight-year-old son; part his choice, part my decision to try getting him into video games that make him think a bit past where to shoot the next gun. We're both happy with the resolution! He plays this all the time on his DS now, mostly ignoring the rest of his games. I'm sure the novelty will eventually wear off, but enjoying the change of pace for now!
MY SON LOVES THIS GAME AND SAYS IT IS VERY FUN TO P LAY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
